Bio: Rachel Smith has been with the Northerner since Spring 2019, and she interned at Madisonville’s The Messenger over the summer. She has covered topics ranging from protest marches, female entrepreneurship and citizens facing the prospect of homelessness. In her free time, she enjoys listening to indie singer-songwriters and watching horror movies.
