Bio: Entering his second year with The Northerner, Blake has covered a swath of sports topics inside and outside of NKU. Starting out as a reporter writing about sports business trends, men's basketball and baseball, Blake also looks to expand his depth of coverage as Sports Editor. Aside from writing, Blake also volunteers as an assistant baseball coach for Boone County High School and Ohio Elite 15U Cincy. He also enjoys the music and fashion of Kanye West and watching movies.

A’lahn Sumler is among the six Norse mens basketball players who have declared themselves to enter the NCAAs transfer portal. Sumler, who won the Horizon Leagues Freshman of the Week award on Dec. 19 this past season, announced his move on March 20 along with Isaiah Mason.
