The team of undergrad students' research mainly focuses on amphibian species. Along with capturing the species, they also record calls in the field.

Recently, the group caught their first snapping turtle. They have pitfall and canopy traps set up.

The team studies a host of species, including various frogs, salamanders, and even a snapping turtle. They release them 24 to 48 hours after capture back into the wetlands.
