The Northern Kentucky men’s basketball team took down the Illinois State Redbirds Sunday afternoon at BB&T Arena. With their third straight win the Norse are now tied with Horizon League foe Wright State with identical 8-3 records.

Northern Kentucky takes down Eastern Kentucky 76-57

The in-state battle Sunday night ended in NKU’s favor with a 76-57 win. The Norse are now 7-3 on the season. Senior forward Dantez Walton led with 18 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore guard Trevon Faulkner also had 18 points and led in assists with seven.

NKU men’s basketball team win at home against Midway University Monday night 86-56. Graduate wing Karl Harris led the night with 21 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.

Double overtime ends in 98-96 loss for NKU men’s basketball

The Northern Kentucky men’s basketball team dropped a nail-biter Saturday night against the Texas Southern Tigers. The Norse fell 98-96 after a double overtime thriller. For the second straight game at BB&T Arena, two Norse scored 20 or more points.

The Norse defeated Ball State University Cardinals on their home court 59-57 Wednesday night. Three Norse scored in double digits. Senior forward Dantez Walton led the charge with 18 points, six rebounds and three assists.
