Men’s soccer falls to Oakland Grizzlies 3-1

NKU men’s soccer team fell to Oakland 3-1 on Saturday night. The Norse drop to 8-4 overall  and 1-3 in the Horizon league while Oakland improves to 6-4-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

The NKU women’s soccer team won in dramatic fashion Sunday night, after Samantha Duwel netted the game winning goal in the 104th minute of double overtime, scoring a 3-2 victory over Detroit Mercy Titans.
Alex Willis of England has had an impressive start with Norse mens soccer, earning several player of the week nods in just a few months.

In double overtime, the NKU men’s soccer team lost their first match of the season at home against the Wright State Raiders Saturday night. With the loss, the Norse drop to 4-1 overall while the Raiders move to 4-0-1.
