Q: What is your favorite before game meal?
A: I just love food in general. I like turkey subs a lot though.

Q: Do you have any sports related superstitions?
A: Yes. Last year I had two different ankle braces, so I was always paranoid if I put one on the wrong foot I would mess up in the game.

Q: What is your best achievement to date?
A: I got a lot of accolades last year, rookie of the year, in general I’ve improved a lot.

Q: What are you most looking forward to this season?
A: Our team is looking really good, so I want to see how our conference games turn out. I want to see how much better we look this year.

Q: Who is your celebrity crush?
A: Woman crush, Beyonce. But if we’re talking man crush Corbin Bleu in High School Musical, and that floppy hair thing.

Q: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
A: Oh snap I know this one! I would buy my mom a house, and make sure she was all settled.  I want to make sure my family is good first, and then I’ll take care of myself.

Q: What scares you the most? Why?
A: I am always scared that I’ll have some sort of debilitating injury where I can’t play for the rest of college, because volleyball is a big part of what’s paying for my school right now.

Q: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
A: Chocolate. Like rich chocolate from Graeter’s, that’s good ice cream.

Q: What is your dream vacation destination?
A: Either Ireland, or I’m studying Japanese, so I’d love to go to Japan.

Q: What other sport do you wish you were equally as good at?
A: Basketball. Growing up everyone told me I was so tall and I should play basketball, but I’m the worst basketball player because I’m not aggressive enough.

Q: Do you have a nickname?
A: Keels.

Q: What are your pet peeves?
A: None that I can think of.

Q: What is your favorite TV show or movie?
A: I’m obsessed with Spiderman, both of them. I really like Disney movies though.

Q: What is your favorite holiday? Why?
A: Christmas because I’m obsessed with Christmas music. I listen to it year round. I get to go home and see the family.

Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of volleyball?

A: I’m actually in the process of learning a couple of different languages right now. So I’m taking classes for Japanese, and I’m teaching myself Korean and keeping up with my Spanish. And a little bit of German.
