The Northern Kentucky University Men’s Basketball team won its first regular-season game at the Bank of Kentucky Center, defeating Ferris State 72-57 Nov. 15.
Sophomore guard Dustin Maguire led the Norse with 28 points in the game.
NKU had no trouble getting the win, as they had an 11-point lead going into halftime.
The Norse shot at an 80.6 percent clip from the free-throw line going 21-for-26.
NKU will host the John L. Griffin/Lions Club Classic from Nov. 21 and 22. The Norse will face Olivet Nazarene at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 21 and will play UC-Clermont at 7:45 Nov. 22.
