Name: Owen Newberry

Position: Web Editor

Bio: Born and raised in the Cincinnati area, Owen Newberry joined The Northerner staff at the beginning of the Fall 2025 semester as Web Editor. During his time at NKU, Owen was involved in NKU Men’s Club Volleyball, and became president of the club in Fall 2024. Owen is an Applied Software Engineering Major at NKU in his senior year, and is in the Honors College. In his free time, he enjoys sports, building computers and software, and gaming.
