The NKU women's soccer team improved its season record to 5-0 on Friday evening as they defeated No. 15, Tusculum College, 2-1 at Town and Country in Wilder, KY. Carey Hebbeler scored the game winning goal for the Norse early in the second half. The Norse offense controlled much of the first half by keeping the ball on the Pioneer side of the field.
It's soccer season again and the NKU women's team is set to begin their quest for a fourth straight Final Four appearance. NKU begins the season ranked No. 3 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division II preseason poll with hopes of winning their fifth consecutive Great Lakes Valley Conference championship.
