The sounds of chants, cheers, yells and action ring within Truist Arena each game day. At the same time, workers do their jobs silently from the first floor all the way up to the catwalk that lines the top of the arena.
Guest services and ticket ushers, along with security and concession workers, make each event at Truist fun for all attendees. Each has their own responsibility in the arena. Each of these jobs play a crucial role in the operations of both game days and non-athletic events at Truist..
One important group of essential workers at the arena are guest services. They serve everyone who comes into the arena to attend any events.

Their job entails a variety of tasks, such as working the booth, where they can help give directions to anyone who needs them, answering their questions, or giving out sheets of information about the game.
Other jobs can be helping to scan tickets and working the elevator for physically disabled attendees.
“I think this job is critical, especially for concerts and
events like that, more so than just a game,” said Art Kremer, a guest services employee. Workers like Kremer take their jobs very seriously, being a big part of the fan experience.
Another essential piece of operations is the concession workers. They work events to provide food and drink to all patrons at numerous concession stands within the arena. Customer service is a necessary skill for these workers, as they are an outward-facing position.
“My job is pretty important, because customers come up and if we don’t have food ready, it could ruin a big part of their experience” said concession worker Brannon Billiter.
