Due to Sunday’s flash flooding, the Sept. 6 match for NKU Women’s Soccer against Xavier University will be moved to the NKU Soccer Stadium, giving the Norse home field advantage against the Musketeers.

The flash flooding associated with the storms made Xavier’s field unplayable.

Kick off time for the match will also be moved to 7 p.m., instead of the original 6:30 p.m. This is the second time in as many years weather has affected play between the two teams, after severe weather cancelled the match last year.

The match will also now be shown on ESPN3, making it the eighth televised game on the schedule for the NKU Women’s Soccer team.

The NKU Women’s Soccer team stand at 1-0-3 so far this season while Xavier stands at 2-1-1. NKU’s first win on the season was Aug. 29 against Morehead State.
