The NKU women’s volleyball team has dropped two straight Horizon League games after a win over Green Bay Oct. 2.

Tuesday, the Norse fell in straight sets to Wright State, 25-21, 27-25, 25-13.

Keely Creamer led NKU (6-11, 1-4 in Horizon League) with 12 kills. Haley Libs added nine kills. Mel Stewart added 23 digs, and Taylor Snyder led the way with 27 assists.

Megan Hopkins and Katie Klusman led the Raiders (12-8, 1-4) with 14 kills each.

Saturday, NKU lost a three-set match to Milwaukee, 25-17, 25-20 and 25-15.

Creamer once again led the Norse in kills with 10. Kelly Turner added nine kills while Libs had eight.

Maggie Dunbar and Maddie Williams each had 11 kills to lead Milwaukee.

NKU recorded a thrilling five-set victory Oct. 2 against Green Bay. The Norse rallied from a 2-1 set disadvantage to win 25-23, 13-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Creamer led the Norse in kills with 16. Libs added 13, while Turner and Jayden Julian had 12 kills each. Tristen Simpson was the fifth Norse in double figures in kills with 10.

Four Norse players had double-digit digs, led by Stewart with 23. Snyder had 16 while Julian and Lauren Hurley had 12 each. Snyder also had 46 assists.

NKU returns home 7 p.m. tonight to begin a three-match homestand. They will host Youngstown State at Regents Hall. The match will be broadcast on ESPN3.
