Women sixth, men ninth at Cedarville Friendship Invite

CEDARVILLE, Ohio — The women’s cross country team finished sixth, and the men finished ninth at the Cedarville Friendship Invitational Saturday.

The women were sixth out of 12 teams. Milwaukee was first with 47 points.

For the women, Hannah Tobler was the top NKU finisher, placing 18th in a time of 19:16.80. Kelly Burrows was 23rd in 19:22.10. Jennah Flairty was 26th in 19:25.50. She was followed by Kimmy Wolfe (34th), Jessica Tegge (41st) and Jaci Combs (77th) and Jaylah Howell (91st).

The men finished ninth out of 12 teams. Milwaukee was first with 28 points.

Keith Prive was the top Norse finisher, coming in 21st in 26:49.70.

Following Prive was Tristian Tapia (42nd), Tyler Mowery (55th), Cole Grecco (68th) and Michael Caldwell (76th).

Both teams return to action Saturday in Earlysville, Virginia. They will run in the Virginia/Panorama Farms Invitational.
