Women’s Volleyball
Senior Jenna Schreiver became Northern Kentucky University’s all-time leader in career assists in a straight-set victory over Mercer University on Nov. 2. Schreiver had 36 assists in the match, bringing her career total to 4,983 assists. She passed Molly Donovan, who held the record since 1998 with 4,971 assists. The next night in a four-set victory over Kennesaw State University, Schreiver collected 46 assists, bringing her total to 5,029 assists. She became the first Norse to pass the 5,000 assist milestone and has two matches remaining.
Men’s Soccer
Senior midfielder Michael Bartlett and freshman goalie A.J. Fleak, members of the Northern Kentucky University men’s soccer team, earned postseason conference honors. Bartlett was named to the A-Sun All-Academic team. Bartlett started in all 18 matches for the Norse and posted a 3.68 grade point average, majoring in marketing. Fleak was named to the All-Freshman team. Fleak finished third in the Atlantic Sun in both goals against average (0.99) and save percentage (.776).
