Volleyball

The Northern Kentucky University volleyball team played two road matches over the last weekend. The team lost to East Tennessee State on Oct. 5 in five sets (26-28, 25-21, 26-24, 21-25, 15-13). The Norse bounced back the next day defeating South Carolina Upstate in four sets, (25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 25-23). The Norse are now 17-3 on the season and 5-2 against conference opponents.

Men’s Golf

The Northern Kentucky University men’s golf team competed in the Bearcat Invitational on Oct. 8-9, finishing fourth out of 13 teams. Sophomore Corey Richmond tied for first place with a 3-under score after the three rounds and then won the event with a birdie on the first playoff hole.
Junior Steve Rickels tied for 12th place while junior Jones Brown finished in a tie for 23rd place.
