Softball
The softball team began the season in Decatur, Ala. by playing in the Charger Chillout. The Norse finished the tournament 3-1, defeating West Georgia, 6-2, and Florida Tech, 4-3, on Feb. 17. The team split its games on Feb. 18 by winning 3-2 over Wayne State (Mich.) and losing to West Alabama, 0-5. The team was scheduled to play Georgia College and Barry on Feb. 19 but those games were cancelled due to rain and will not be rescheduled

Baseball
The baseball team dropped its first two games of the season on Feb. 18 in Dahlonega, Ga. The Norse were defeated by North Georgia 3-10 and then 2-3 in the double header. The third game of the series, scheduled on Feb. 19, was cancelled due to rain. The team split a doubleheader against Lincoln Memorial on Feb. 21. They won 5-2 and dropped the other game, 5-8.

Men’s Tennis

The men’s tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Eastern Kentucky University on Feb. 17. The two victories were by freshman Christopher Angulo in the No. 4 match in three sets and senior Tyler Fraser in the No. 5 match in straight sets.
