NKU Men’s Tennis has Rough Opening Weekend

The NKU men’s tennis team opened the season on Feb. 21-23 by dropping their first three contests in Dayton, Oh.

NKU opened their season against the New Jersey Institute of Technology on Friday, but dropped the match 0-7, failing to score a single point. The Norse opened Saturday with a match against Dayton, but fell to the Flyers 2-4. The Norse was able to get points from freshman Guillaume Berman and sophomore Lee Lonergan as they won their singles matches. The final match of the weekend was against Belmont, as the Norse fell 2-5 to the Bruins.  The Norse again got a singles point from Berman, as senior Lance Koetter also added a point.

NKU will return to action on March 7-11 as they take on Millersville, Brevard, Tifin and Young Harris in Hilton Head, S.C.
