The Northern Kentucky University’s Men’s cross-country team looks forward to tackling the vigorous -kilometer race’ Oct. 10, 2009, when they take part in the Greater Lakes Valley Conference-MIAA Challenge.

The race, which will begin at 11:00 a.m., takes place in Rolla, Mo. Leading the team will be two-time GLVC cross country runner of the week, Drew Harris.
Harris set an NKU school record at the Dayton Flyer five-kilometer, finishing with a time of 15:16.

The team has finished third, fifth and seventh in their previous three meets. The Norse looks to rebound from their run of the mill performances by winning the GLVC-MIAA eight-kilometer race this Saturday.
