A thick blanket of fog covered NKU and the Greater Cincinnati region Thursday.

The National Weather Service issued a special statement to dozens of counties in the tri-state about the fog, saying that visibility could be reduced by a up to quarter mile and that drivers should be prepared for hindered visibility, use their low-beam headlights, slow down and refrain from driving close to other vehicles. Patches of fog are expected to continue into the evening.

The Northerner took a stroll around campus to see how the fog obscured the campus’s usual scenery.
