Police Beats 10/3/13

Sept. 20, 7:52 a.m.: An NKU employee found an unattended textbook and a tablet on the plaza.

 

Sept. 20, 6:57 p.m.: There was a single car accident in the University Drive garage. There were no injuries.

 

Sept. 20, 11:39 p.m.: Two students in the University Suites were found with alcohol and were cited for underage possession.

 

Between Sept. 22, 11 p.m. and Sept. 23, 1 a.m.: Someone removed a parking permit from an unlocked car in Lot Z below Callahan.

 

Sept. 23, 12:30 p.m.: Someone hit a parked car in the Welcome Center garage and left before reporting it. There were no reported injuries.

 

Sept. 23, between 2:15 p.m. and 4:10 p.m.: Someone took an unattended Razor scooter from the first floor lobby of the University Center. The case is currently open.

 

Between Sept. 23, 10:50 p.m. and Sept. 24, 10:45 a.m.: University Police received a report that a student’s laundry and detergent had been stolen from Norse Commons. However, the student had checked the wrong dryer.

 

Sept. 24, 1:24 a.m.: A man was taken to the hospital from the University Suites by ambulance for evaluation and treatment for a psychological emergency.

 

Sept. 25, between 12:10 a.m. and 1:06 a.m.: A female student was taken from Commonwealth Hall to the hospital in an ambulance for evaluation and treatment.

 

Sept. 25, between 5:20 p.m. and 10 p.m.: Someone took a laptop off of a TANK bus after it had accidentally been left behind. The case is currently open.

 

Sept. 25, between 6 p.m. and 6:14 p.m.: A student in Norse Hall broke their nose and then received medical attention.

 

Sept. 25, between 10 p.m. and 11:25 p.m.: Someone flooded part of the science center after turning water on and leaving. The case is currently open.

 

Sept. 26, 10:59 p.m.: Police received a report that a student in Commonwealth Hall was in possession of alcohol.

 

Between Sept. 26, 11:40 p.m., and  Sept. 27, 12:10 a.m.: An unknown female took an unattended soccer ball from the lobby of Kentucky Hall. The case is currently open.

 

Sept. 27, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.: Someone wrote on a men’s bathroom stall with a marker in the Landrum Academic Center. The case is currently open.

Sept. 28, between 3:53 p.m. and 4:02 p.m.: A female student was taken to the hospital from the Woodcrest Apartments for a psychological emergency.
