The good Members of the Grace Community Church in Covington served free hamburgers and hot dogs in front of their church building. After the church’s weekly supper, members realized that without power, the food would be lost. They served the remaining food and drinks to anyone passing by.

The bad As of Sept. 16, more than 300,000 Kentuckians were still without power due to the wind storm Sept. 14. Duke Energy reported that 65,500 customers were without power. The winds have caused double the number of power losses in Kentucky than the ice storm of 2003.
