The Good

Anyone worried man’s best friend might have felt left out during the Olympic games need not worry: Blue Ash’s annual Doggie Doo-Athlon and Festival is set to take place Sept 6 at the Blue Ash Recreation Center pool according to Community Press.

The Bad

Twelve Northern Kentucky men and women were recently ordered before a federal judge to explain why they had skipped jury duty according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. U.S. District Judge Danny Reeves said he called the residents forward to explain themselves because of problems arising from their absence in the high-profile case he was trying to seat, in which former Grant County jail guards are charged with allowing inmates to rape an 18-year-old locked up for traffic violations.

The Weird

An Oviedo, Fla., undercover police officer was forced to resign after posting naked photos of himself on Craigslist according to Investigators recognized Scott Woodlee by his tattoos after receiving a tip. “Well, like I said, I could sit here and tell you I did it for entertainment purposes, because most of the stuff on there is 90 percent ‘BS’ anyways, to be quite honest with you,” said Woodlee in response to his actions.
