Two emus were captured in Greenfield, Mass., after they had been gallivanting around the area disrupting traffic, recorder.com reported April 18. A woman ordered her boyfriend to pull over after seeing the birds running around the side of the road and lasso the birds.

The honeymooners meet Mad Max

A man sits behind bars in Canton, Ohio, on charges he locked up his own wife in a cage for their honeymoon and shot at her feet. Police say he handcuffed her and put her in a dog cage before firing several shots at her feet. His bond is set at $5 million.

Florida Woman flashes her traffic lights

A DeLand, Fla., woman told police that God told her to direct traffic, while she was topless. Around 7 p.m. April 17, police were called to an intersection where they say they found the woman “foaming at the mouth and talking to herself.”
