After round one of the Grand Canyon Women’s Invitational in Goodyear, Ariz, the NKU Women’s Golf team are in second place behind St. Edwards.

As a team, the Norse shot a 310 and trail St. Edwards by three strokes.

Alicia Lawrence leads the Norse with a score of 75. Lawrence shot a 37 on the front nine, and kept the pace shooting a 38 on the back nine.

Four out of the five golfers for the Norse are currently in the top 25 on the leaderboard through March 24.
