The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced March 25, that NKU Cross-Country runner Julianne Hoekzema as the conference’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Hoekzema, a senior at NKU, nailed a NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time in the 5,000-meter run at the University of Cincinnati Earlybird Relays, March 22.
She posted a time of 17:42.94, a personal best and fifth place in the event, according to a press release by the GLVC.
