Winter Recital set

Witness the variety of musical instruments from the local youth community. Ranging from the violin to the bass to the harp to the saxophone to guitar ensembles for the Music Preparatory Winter Recital which will take place at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 in Greaves Hall. Admission is free.

String Quartet to perform

The Azmari Quartet will perform “The Seven Last Words of Christ” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 in the Northern Kentucky University Art Gallery in the Fine Arts Building. It is free.

Informatics to hold discussion

John Blackburn, accountant at Western Southern Life, will hold a discussion about career paths in Informatics from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Feb. 19 in Business Education and Psychology Room 306. Refreshments will be served.

Chase to give free public lecture

Chase College of Law will present a free public intellectual property synposium from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Marriott RiverCenter in Covington, Ky.

Five panelists will discuss developments in patent law by the Roberts Court.

Kennedy to present lecture

Robert Kennedy Jr. will deliver a public lecture on “Our Environmental Destiny” at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in Greaves Hall.

Tickets are $3 in advance at the Office of Student Life, for all NKU faculty, staff and students; $5 at the door and $10 for the general public.
