The good

Scottish blind children are learning to see with sound, Fox News reported Feb. 10. Visibility, a charity in Glasgow, U.K., is teaching kids echolocation by clicking their tongues and listening for the sounds to bounce off of objects in the distance, similar to bats.

The bad

Eighty-seven students at the State University of New York in Old Westbury, N.Y., were evicted from their dormitories after their GPAs fell below 2.0, newsday.com reported Feb. 10. Twenty-three of the students did not register for the spring semester.

The weird

A Milwaukee couple has created a pizza-flavored beer, myfoxmilwaukee.com reported Feb. 8. From the Mamma Mia! Business, “Pizza Beer” not only smells and tastes like the Italian pie, it is even made from the same ingredients and more than 500 cases have been sold before even being bottled.
