Book sell-back prices conditional

The end of the semester is upon us. With classes almost completed and books no longer needed, many students may opt to sell back their books in an effort to regain some of the cost or just for extra cash.

“I hear you don’t get back too much money, maybe 20 percent. You don’t get a lot for a brand new book,” said Derek Courts, a freshman business marketing major. Though he’s not excited about his anticipated cash return, he said “something is better than nothing.”

Northern Kentucky University bookstore manager, Mike Zimmerman said, “We are not allowed to make any comments to the public.”

Alan Mairose, Campus Book ‘ Supply (the bookstore off campus on Martha Layne Collins Boulevard) textbook manager, said many factors affect the sellback price.
