College of Arts and Sciences: Music- Department of Music- The Symphonic Winds and Concert Band will perform an evening of music by John Barnes Chance, Norman Dello Joio, Percy Grainger, Joaquin Turina, J.S. Bach, Henry Fillmore, Dmitri Shostakovich and Reinhold Gli’eacute;re at 8 p.m. in Greaves Concert Hall Nov. 29. General tickets cost $5 and $3 for students and seniors.
College of Nursing and Health Professions: The School of Nursing ‘ Health Professions hosted students from Simon Kenton High School for the second Nurse Career Day Nov. 22. The event was sponsored by the Pathways to Nursing Partnership Grant and introduced high school students to the nursing profession. Participating faculty included Adele Dean, Denise Gormley, Judi Frerick and Sandra Turkelson.
Chase College of Law: Chase professor Jennifer Kreder will present her paper “Reconciling Individual and Group Justice with the Need for Response in Nazi-looted Art Disputes: Creation of an International Tribunal” Nov. 30 at Washington University.
College of Informatics: Billie Waldo, vice president and chief nursing officer of McKession Provider Technologies will present “Tapping the Potential of Heath IT to Improve Clinical and Financial Outcomes” at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in Steely Library Room 102. A reception will be held at 5:30 p.m.
