Blackhawk helicopter lands at university

A UH 60 Blackhawk helicopter landed on Northern Kentucky University’s campus at 9:29 a.m., Nov. 19 on the grassy area between the Baptist Campus Ministries and Natural Science buildings. Students and staff gathered to see the landing of the helicopter, which was brought to campus by the Army ROTC and the Army National Guard. It was brought in as a recruiting tool for the military branches and stayed parked on the grass until about 12:30 p.m. that afternoon.
