I would like to write send my condolences to the family of Dr. Weatherby. I read The Northerner, yet felt it didn’t completely represent who Weatherby was. Weatherby stood for and valued diversity on our campus. He would go above and beyond to befriend many students.

On behalf of Common Ground, NAACP and Latino Student Union y Amigos, we are also mourning for the loss NKU faced this past week. He was a great man, who wanted students to achieve their best and succeed.

The past issue of the Northerner excluded some of the organizations he supported, and just want to make sure that he valued multiculturalism, and it is known that he worked with more than just the groups mentioned.
