Aside from the Applied Science and Technology building, mathematics has one other home on campus: CINSAM.

CINSAM (Center of Integrative Natural Science and Mathematics) was established by the Council on Post-Secondary Education in 1999 as the Program of Distinction at Northern Kentucky University.

CINSAM is involved with area science and mathematics alliances and has established workshops and courses led by NKU faculty for elementary, middle and secondary school teachers. It provides on-campus learning programs for students throughout the Northern Kentucky region. It also makes possible scholarships, internships in business and industry as well as research opportunities for students.
