16,885 U.S. citizens drove while intoxicated in 2005, with 1.4 million arrests for drunken driving.

159 million episodes of American adults driving while under the influence were reported in 2006. Young people are more at risk while driving when inebriated than older people.

$51 billion dollars are lost because of drunken driving each year.
