Three people were shot with an automatic weapon while they attended a Nickelodeon Kids’ Awards after party in Los Angeles, Fox News reported April 1. The party had attracted almost 200 people, mostly teenagers. Police had not arrested any suspects as of noon April 1. They suspect that gang members were involved.

PEEPING TOM CAUGHT AFTER LEAVING EVIDENCE ON WINDOWSILL

Police arrested a man on charges of voyeurism and burglary, alleging that he used a hooked-pole to pull the comforter off a sleeping 11-year-old girl in Hernando, Fla., the St. Petersburg Times reported April 1. Officers connected the man to the crime when they found semen under her window that they matched to the man, who was her neighbor and has a history of prowling and burglary.

ROBBERS DON’T GET THE DOUGH THEY WERE EXPECTING

A thief shot a partner in the back while they were trying to rob a bakery just after midnight in Melbourne, Australia, News.com.au reported April 2. The pair had demanded a bag, which they thought had the restaurant’s money, that the owner was holding. The bag, however, contained only bread. Then, one thief accidentally shot the other in the back, and they fled, with the injured one being admitted to a hospital later that evening.
