I usually do not commemorate those who have passed on in “The Fix.” Nonetheless, I would like to give a shout-out to the late, great Anna Nicole Smith, who passed away Feb. 8. The 39-year-old’s bouncy blonde curls, with boobs to match, always gave my Fix entries that much more glamour, beauty and, may I say, life. Her much-heard refrain, “Do you like my body?” excited men and enthralled women around the globe. If you think about it, the world is a little dimmer without Anna; we’ll all miss her, and so will Trimspa. Anna leaves behind 5-month-old baby girl Dannielynn Hope, whose paternity is currently being addressed in court.

“My mom is going to freak,” said pop star Britney Spears Feb. 16 – and for good reason. Spears has gone and shaved her head, People Magazine reports. No joke. The 25-year-old stopped by Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, Calif., and told owner Esther Tognozzi, “I want you to buzz my hair off.” When Tognozzi refused to shave her head, Spears said, “Then I’ll do it.” Tognozzi described Spears as having “no expression” during the visit, which occurred shortly after Spears’ short rehab stint. Before Spears slipped out the back door to face the paparazzi, Tognozzi asked her if the buzz cut was a symbol of a new beginning. Spears’ response: “Something like that.” Spears completed her white-trash experience by going to a tattoo parlor shortly thereafter, getting a pink, white and black cross on her hip, and pink and red lips on her wrist. Classy. But that’s her middle name, right?
