Bacchus, the Roman god of wine, partying and theatre, is smiling down on Playhouse in the Park’s latest production of “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” This irreverent musical stops at nothing in its pursuit of comedy… even if that means spritzing the audience with water guns and stealing their shoes.
