Dear Editor,
This letter concerns the article “Printing charges to be implemented” by Sarah Loman. In this article it is stated that the Pay for Prints program will cost students $160,000 and prints will cost eight cents per copy. Also, it states that full time students will receive 100 free copies and part-time students will receive 50 free copies. Currently I am a full time student and I pay ten cents per print and have never received a free copy.
My question is this: How does the university benefit from this program if the students pay less per print and receive free prints?
