Chiefs will stay undefeated; Packers try for victory

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns Can the Chiefs improve their record to 9-0 against the struggling Browns? The Chiefs will have their way against the Browns this Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs are fresh off the bye week and don’t seem ready to lose yet. The Priest is still on fire and so is Trent Green. Dante Hall will be looking to break the NFL record for kickoff returns for touchdowns in this game. He already has four and should be able to get his fifth return for touchdown against the Browns struggling special teams. What has happened to the Browns high powered offense? The Browns big play receivers have been struggling to get open and when they do they seem to have a hard time holding on to the ball. I look for the Browns to be competitive with the Chiefs in the first two quarters, but after that Trent Green should have a field day picking apart the Browns suspect secondary. Prediction: Chiefs 35 Browns 14

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers Finally Brett Favre gets to return home to the “frozen tundra”. Brett Favre and the Packers hope to salvage the season with a win against the Eagles this Monday night, who are starting to heat up. I look for Donovan McNabb to struggle in this one. Brett Favre seems to be unstoppable in the month of November at home. I think Ahman Green will play a major factor in this game. Look for him to rush for a hundred yards against the Eagles tough run defense. Also look for Al Harris (ex-Eagle corner) to seek a little revenge on his former team that cut him in the off-season. The Packers will probably have Harris lined up against James Thrash. I look for him to shut him down as well with the sensational rookie linebacker, Nick Barnett of the Packers. If the Eagles receivers struggle to get open, look for McNabb to turn to his tight ends. Barnett excels best in pass coverage. This will be a very competitive game and low scoring. I think Bret Favre will get hot in the second half and lead the Packers to victory. Prediction:Packers 24 Eagles 17
