My name is Katie Walker, and, sorry, but I’m not submitting an article… this time. I am extremely interested in writing/working for The Northerner. I’m a transfer student from the University of Louisville. I worked on the student newspaper down there for a couple years (The Louisville Cardinal) as a staff writer, copyeditor, and assistant Focus Editor (feature section). I don’t know how you go about your “hiring” process or if you even bother with many in-staff writers.
