The Girl Scout Council of Licking Valley is looking for college students to volunteer their services to help inspire Girl Scout troops.

Girl Scouts are for girls ages five to 17. This reach-out program encourages those who do not have much parental support, said Laura Clarke, membership marketing/public relations manager.

“Some college volunteers are science majors. They help students learn about microscopes,” said Clarke. “They also help to encourage troops to attend college upon graduation from high school.”
