The Phi Kappa Tau Annual Charity Auction has been postponed.
Originally scheduled for Feb. 25, the auction was pushed back until sometime in late April because of lack of participation.
“The main reason is that traffic is horrible,” said Richard Watson, a member of Phi Kappa Tau. “Another thing is that there are a lot of people who have night classes on Tuesdays.”
The fraternity is auctioning off various donated gifts from local companies and national corportations. The fraternity’s members are also putting themselves up on the block to perform four hours of community service to the highest bidders.
The event will raise money for the Hole In The Wall Gang Association, a charity that helps children who suffer from severe and terminal blood diseases.
