TANK a good corporate neighbor
In today’s world, being a corporate citizen is vitally important. At NKU, we have the opportunity to work with many companies who give generously to our university.
One such corporate citizen is the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank TANK for their dedication in providing the NKU River Run to our students.
This year, TANK has secured more than $158,000 in funding for the NKU River Run.
The NKU River Run is a bus that runs every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m. to the Newport and Covington Riverfronts.
Student Government Association has been working on this project for over a year. We have been fortunate enough to work with Gina Douthat, Lisa Willenbrink, Mark Donaghy and Wally Pagan, all who have been instrumental in establishing this effort.
Each of them has contributed significant amounts of time, hard work and dedication to ensure the success of this project.
TANK is a model citizen to this community.
They took on the responsibility of reaching out to the community, and specifically NKU, to be a good neighbor.
TANK is truly a friend to Northern Kentucky University.
