Hello, Normally, I would never write to the paper especially the school paper because i either don’t have the time or am just not all that concerned. But in regards to the January 16th paper realease, I read an article about Juvenile Crime and how it is great for our society and economy. i think this is the biggest load of crap I have ever read. I don’t know what Sociology professor is teaching these students at NKU, but it needs to stop. I have had 2 instances of my stuff being stolen out of my car because of juveniles and I hardly think it is amusing and think it is great for my wallet to turn around and buy something again because insurance did not cover the theft. I took Sociology as well, two different classes to be precise, and I was also taught that in theory, prostitiution should be legalized because it keeps men faithful to their wives. Instead of lusting for another woman, a man could just get his pleasure elsewhere and the wife would not be upset because it was just a whore he was seeing and not a woman who would be in direct competition with the other. I don’t know about you, but this is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. I know this is a liberal arts school, but this nonsense has to stop. I do not want to be represented by our nation and other nations as a punk kid comitting crimes my tax money has to pay for. It makes me sick that adults even support this notion, after all, adults pay more taxes, correct? What we have here, is an editorial, constructed by well spoken idiots. I don’t even see how this even made it in the paper. Hopefully, anyone who supports this editorial and is against mine gets their car keyed or broken into and we’ll see if they change their mind.
