New fashion finds at bookstore

This fall semester you’ll turn heads wearing the new apparel from Northern Kentucky University’s bookstore. Now owned by Barnes and Noble, the NKU Bookstore carries an abundance of new merchandise that is geared toward the collegiate market.

So far the new clothing options seem to be a hit. Emily Conley, bookstore manager, said, “We’ve gotten a lot of compliments on the styles.”
If your wardrobe is looking a little stale, the bright colors of the Under Armour-manufactured tank tops will liven things up. The attire is perfect for dressing casual to class or for a workout at the Albright Health Center.

Although neon blues and greens will certainly add some spark, don’t forget about the traditional gold and black to represent NKU. The bookstore has plenty to offer, including women’s jerseys that are appropriate to wear to any of this year’s Division I sporting events.
Barnes and Noble regional manager Marcia Stewart advocated the importance of reaching out to the student body to learn how the bookstore can best gear their merchandise to the students.

Conley said through researching the market they learned what brands are popular and made those readily available to NKU students. You can find brands such as Jansport and Under Armour, among others at the NKU bookstore.
