NKU men’s basketball team advances to Horizon League Finals

NKU men’s basketball team survived and advances to the final round of the Horizon League tournament after defeating the Green Bay Phoenix 80-69. NKU dominated the last five minutes of the game propelling them into their 11 point win. Redshirt junior guard Jalen Tate scored 23 points, shooting 10-of-15 from the free throw line. Senior guard Tyler Sharpe added 20 by executing two clutch 3-pointers and senior forward Dantez Walton recorded a double-double, scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds.

NKU moves onto the Horizon League Championship, taking on the no. 4 UIC Flames. The game is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN.
