The second annual EMBer Film Festival was held Wednesday, Sept. 28 to celebrate short films created by students during the pandemic. A panel of three judges gave six awards to student filmmakers. We talked to people at the film festival and looked at which film won which award.

Your donation will support the student journalists of Northern Kentucky University. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs. The Northerner is a completely independent student media operation. Students report, edit, design, take pictures, shoot video and all the rest without any outside (or inside) influence. Students wishing to join can attend meetings held on Mondays at 4:30 in the Scripps Howard Lab, GH 204.
