Need help making your resume catch an employers eye? Northern Kentucky Leadership Institute will be giving lessons on how to organize your resume, describe your experiences and write a customized cover letter.

NKU Gold Anniversary on the Silver Screen | Aug. 30 | 6:30 p.m. Digitorium

In honor of NKU’s 50th anniversary, the department of English and Cinema Studies is flashing back to 1968 with Planet of the Apes (1968). The event will be a series of movies every two weeks in the Digitorium. Screenings are free and open to the public with complimentary popcorn, chocolate covered pretzels, water and other concessions available with purchase.

Cruise-A-Palooza | Sept. 1 | 12-4 p.m. | Coney Island

Classic cars will be revving their engines at the car show on Coney Island. Different makes and models from over the years will be showcased throughout the afternoon. The event is free to guests.

Rubber Duck Regatta | Sept. 2 | 3 p.m. | Newport On the Levee Purple People Bridge

Looking to leave the nest this weekend? Waddle on down to the Levee to see 200,000 rubber ducks migrate along the Serpentine Wall by the Newport Levee. The ducks will begin floating at 3:00. The event is free of a bill.
