ollege of Business: As part of the Double the Numbers plan for Kentucky, the Kentucky Council of Postsecondary Education announced two initiatives to bring adults back to college, according to the Kentucky Post. Project Graduate seeks to bring adults who have completed 90 or more credit hours back to finish their degree. The Kentucky Adult Learning Initiative gives public four year institutions $50,000 to develop plans for adult-friendly policies and services.

College of Arts and Sciences: music — “Celebration of the Season!” featuring the NKU Choral Ensembles at 8 p.m. Dec. 6 in Greaves Concert Hall. Dr. Randy Pennington will conduct the show. General tickets are $5 and $3 for students and seniors.

Chase College of Law: The Paducah Regional Alumni Reception will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park in Gilbertsville, Ky. College of Education and human services: The college held a Celebration of Success awards Dec. 3. The reception honored the following outstanding students for the Fall 2007 semester: Abby Mullins, Sarah Bodley, Brad Macke, Tammy King, Veronika Brannock, Sarah Buis, Cyd Paugh and Caroline List.
