How NKU athletics plans to get fans in the door

With NKU’s basketball program growing massively in the past few years, including two trips to the NCAA tournament and one bid to the NIT, the athletics department is doing all that they can to ensure students, alumni and local residents are making their way down to BB&T Arena to cheer on the Norse—including a new promotion that will send students home with $1,000.

External review finds abuse allegations against WBB coach ‘unfounded’

NKU women’s basketball season comes to an end against IUPUI Jaguars

NKU's season comes to an end in Indianapolis against the no. 4 IUPUI Jaguars in the first round of Motor City Madness, 44-60. The Norse end the season with an 11-18 overall record and 10-8 conference record. The Jaguars advance to play Wright State in the semi finals of the Horizon League championship.

NKU takes down Oakland Grizzlies 74-63

NKU women's basketball defeats Oakland Golden Grizzlies 74-63. This win moves NKU to 10-17 on the season and 9-8 in the Horizon League. The Grizzlies fall 6-22 in the season and 3-14 in the conference.

NKU defends home court against Cleveland State

NKU women’s basketball team ended the home season with six game winning streak against Cleveland State Sunday afternoon with a score of 74-55. The Norse move to 8-8 in the conference and 9-17 on the season. Cleveland State Vikings fall to 10-18 on the season and 7-10 in the Horizon League.

Preview: Women’s team hosts Cleveland State on Senior Day

The NKU women’s basketball team hosts Cleveland State Vikings Sunday, Feb. 24 at BB&T Arena. The game will be the final home game of the season and honor senior guard Taryn Taugher. The game will also be NKU’s pink game, the Norse partner with the Pink Ribbon Girls, an organization that provides various services to individuals with breast and gynecological cancers.
