The game came down to the last minute Friday night at BB&T Arena, where NKU women’s basketball team fell 55-63. The Norse now stand 9-9 overall and 3-4 in the conference. Sophomore point guard Ally Niece led the game with 16 points, five assists and three steals. sophomore point guard Taylor Clos had 13 points, shooting 3-of-4 big time 3-point baskets.

NKU women’s basketball ends weekend 1-1 after 73-68 loss

NKU women's basketball fell to Cleveland State 73-68 Saturday afternoon at BB&T Arena. In the conference the Norse are now 2-2 and have an overall record of 8-7. Sophomore forward Emmy Souder and Sophomore point guard each led with 18 points apiece. Sophomore point guard Ally Niece followed with 11 points, shooting from 50 percent at the 3-point line. Junior center Grayson Rose had 17 rebounds from the boards.

NKU women’s basketball take down Youngstown State in Conference home opener

The Northern Kentucky women’s basketball team captured their eighth win of the season Thursday night at BB&T Arena 75-56. The victory over the Youngstown State Penguins is also the second conference win for the Black and Gold. Coming into the game YSU was the overall leader in the Horizon League.

The Norse end their nonconference record at 6-5 in an 80-72 win against the Wofford College Terriers Friday night. Four Norse scored in double digits.

NKU took on the No. 2 Lady Cardinals Sunday afternoon at BB&T Arena. Prior to the start of the game redshirt senior point guard Molly Glick received a game ball for achieving her 1,000th career point.

On Sunday afternoon the no. 2 ranked University of Louisville Cardinals women’s basketball team will face NKU’s women’s basketball at BB&T Arena. The game won’t be a big deal just for the Norse but will mean a lot for Head Coach of the Lady Cardinals, Jeff Walz.

Women’s basketball gain second win in a row over Central Arkansas

The Norse collected their second win Monday afternoon at BB&T Arena against the University of Central Arkansas Sugar Bears, 72-56. Three Norse scored in double digits during the game.

NKU women's basketball team took down the University of Nebraska at Omaha 57-40 Thursday night. The Norse are now 1-4 on the season. Redhshirt junior guard Molly Glick led with 11 points and three rebounds. Freshman guard Carissa Garcia, sophomore forward Emmy Souder, sophomore point guard Taylor Clos followed with eight points a piece.

The Northern Kentucky women’s basketball team took on the Billikens from St. Louis University on Tuesday night. The Norse fell short in their home opener, losing 67-42. 
Womens basketball will play UC Wednesday night in Truist Arena.

NKU Norse battles EKU falls short in 69-62 loss

NKU women's basketball started the season with a tight game in Richmond, KY against Eastern Kentucky Colonels. Freshman guard Carissa Garcia led the night with 18 points and four rebounds, followed by freshman point guard Ivy Turner with 16 points, six assists and five rebounds. Sophomore forward Kailey Coffey led the night in rebounds with 1o and contributed five points to the scoreboard.
